
Patches is well known by our supporters and all volunteers, he is blind and a permanent resident at Oscar's Place. Patches is the most documented case of abuse that we’ve come across at Oscar’s Place and he lost his eyesight due to it. The fact that Patches trusts humans again is a testament to his resilience, forgiveness, and love.
Prints of Patches are 10” x 8” and signed by the artist. It is packaged in a plastic sleeve and sent with a sturdy backing with his story written on the back.
About the artist
Melisa Beveridge of Woollybear Travels is a Registered Veterinary Technician and a Science Illustrator on a mission to make the world a better place for orphaned, injured, and rescued animals. Through Woollybear Travels, she goes to animal sanctuaries around the world and volunteers her services as an animal nurse, where it’s legal, or does general volunteer work if it’s not. She writes about the animals she meets, the people who are helping them, and creates artwork based on her experiences.
